I think it’s pretty amazing how the older you get, the more your birthday becomes about the people around you instead of about yourself. You want to be with the people you love…to celebrate, to remember, to dream about the days ahead and just know that you have a home with someone… I just wanted to write a thank you note today, on my birthday, to honor some of the people around me, right now, who make my life what it is…and who make my birthday truly happy today.
I’m pretty sure I made fun of Hillary Clinton when she said, “it takes a village to raise a child”…but on the flipside… I look around and it’s absolutely true in my case, for my children. What makes me ok with that is that I know that God Himself placed me in this village around [...]
